The people renovating had a son who did decorative cement.. and did the countertops.. well the one in the

guest bathroom was great.. the kitchen came out awful.. white spots all over.. cracking.. not pretty.. so I

painted them .. they are very cool now.. and easy to care for.

you can see that the tiles are a different color.. the

ones here are a weird light color and show every

partical of dirt.. I am painting them.. I painted the dining room and breakfast area..

If this doesn't work.. the tiles will come up.. so Mario is hoping this will work.. ha ha

Mario and I found this old whiskey barrel at a Flea market.. and a teak top

at another.. just large enough for two of us to read the paper or four for a

lunch.. I made the floating shelves.. I may not be a GREAT carpenter,

but I get GREAT ideas.. ha ha the old metal kitchen cabinet I've had for years

and finally looks neat here.
